Wiegmann Productions is a mobile, 24-track recording studio operating out of Madison and serving southern Wisconsin since 1996. Dedicated to high quality sound, Wiegmann Productions offers a wide range of audio services including mobile multi-track recording, mixing, mastering, transferring from cassette, vinyl or DAT to CD, recompiling past recordings, arranging voiceovers over music for radio ads, and a host of other studio services. We are able to integrate with any in-house or rented sound system, or we can come to your practice area, where you already feel comfortable playing, and record your music there. That's the idea behind "letting the studio come to you"—playing in an environment where you feel comfortable and relaxed makes the recording process much less stressful, and allows musicians to tap more deeply into their emotions and talents. For the last 15 years I have made Madison my home. In that time, I have worked with many bands as a performer, soundman, tech, and now as an engineer/producer. Of these I have found recording and producing to be the most engaging and satisfying. The chance to work with a group developing a sound, while both preserving it's vision of music and exploring the technical details of high fidelity recording continues to be an invaluable part of my life.
